There is interest in knowing and learning more about Bike Safety!

Our recent Bike Safety Survey showed that there is strong interest from families in learning more and getting involved in this topic. For those who signed up, we will be hosting a brief informational session later this month to share next steps and ideas. Contact Mrs. Reynolds if you are interested in joining. You can comment below.

This group will work together with the school, the State of Connecticut, and local community partners to explore ways to increase awareness and promote safe riding practices in our community.

In the meantime, the Branford Police Department has shared a helpful flyer with important information about e-bikes and scooters. It highlights some safety guidelines as well as legal requirements that families may not be aware of. We encourage you to review this information, especially if you are considering purchasing one or if your child is already riding. It may also be a great starting point for a conversation at home about safe and responsible use.
